one day...

i will make beads again.

after all my travels i was looking forward to getting back in the studio and making things. it's been so hot here i had to shut the studio down.

for now i will enjoy the moments that remain of summer with my family. we will drive to the ocean, shop at local growers markets and i will play mermaid of the kiddie pool.

enjoy these days friends!

home!

this morning i woke up and had coffee at home for the first time in over a month.

i have a gazillion photos of my trips and a long list of to do's. over the next few weeks i will post images of my adventures. i still have photos from santa fe and puerto vallarta to share!

for now i unpack and regroup and get a class proposal completed for bead and button next year.

port to port!

thursday i fly from portland, oregon to portland, maine. i'm spending a few weeks with my beautiful friends steph and tom and teaching lampwork + jewelry making workshops to students from around the globe.

this is my longest trip away from my family and i'll miss them huge.

i'll be updating this blog, the hearts and bones blog as well as my personal facebook and hearts and bones studio facebook page while i'm away. probably few words and many photos.

i will have beads for sale in my online shop in the coming weeks. it's been a busy few months of spring shows and preparing for bead and button. new jewelry will be added to hearts and bones studio shop in the coming weeks as well.

peace out.

what is your tree?

something to consider over a long weekend.

i am working in the studio around the clock these days. bead and button is up next and then a few weeks teaching at steph's studio in maine (really looking forward to this). after those gigs i'm heading to reno + the bay area to spend time with family and friends. i want to build pin hole cameras with the boys before we go to san francisco. fun times ahead!

i hope your weekend is filled sunshine and smiles.
